20 Things You Didn't Know About BTS
5. Apartment Living
When they were first put together as a band, the boys had the usual idol experience. They were put together in a small apartment, little more than a single room with multiple bunk beds, and forced to live with each other while they sought stardom.
When they found that stardom, and multiple levels beyond that, they soon found themselves with the opportunity to move separately and buy their own places. Instead, they chose to stay together, although they've slightly upgraded their living arrangments.
In December 2017, they moved from that single room to the most expensive apartment complex in Seoul, Hannam The Hill in Hannam-dong. Costing up to 8.2 billion won ($6.9 million, £5.3 million) per apartment, the Korean Ministry of Land, and Transport reports that the top ten most expensive residences in the country are a part of this complex. Many Korean politicians and celebrities have their homes here, taking advantage of the privacy and high levels of security.
The band's rented apartment reportedly has three large bedrooms, a large kitchen and dining area with two eight-person dining tables, a huge living room and, most importantly, two full bathrooms.
