2020 Grammy Awards: Predicting The Biggest Winners
7. Best Rock Song
Nominees: 'Fear Inoculum' - Tool, 'Give Yourself A Try' - The 1975, 'Harmony Hall' - Vampire Weekend, 'History Repeats' - Brittany Howard, 'This Land' - Gary Clark Jr.
Anyone who's followed rock music this year could likely tell you this is the easiest award to predict of the entire night. Despite Vampire Weekend earning an Album Of The Year bid for 'Father Of The Bride', it would be shocking for anyone other than Tool to win Best Rock Song.
Tool's eagerly awaited, and heavily acclaimed, newest album in 13 years won't be up for an award until next year, but the album's lead single 'Fear Inoculum' should be a shoo-in to earn the band some recognition this year.
The album, also titled 'Fear Inoculum', knocked Taylor Swift off of her Billboard 200 top spot in 2019, and was also the year's best selling rock album. The Recording Academy won't be shy in rewarding those accomplishments handsomely, both this year and next.
Winner: 'Fear Inoculum' - Tool
