21 Best Punk Albums Of The 21st Century
20. Amyl And The Sniffers - Comfort To Me
As the first of two Australian bands to appear on this list, Amyl and the Sniffers are currently enjoying an enormous insurgence of global fan support. This explosion of popularity means they currently have over 400,000 monthly Spotify listeners and have recently toured North America off the back of this newfound fame.
This fairytale overnight success story started as recently as 2018, with the release of 'Big Attractions & Giddy Up'. Considering this was a debut release on an independent record label, the album performed quite well. In the grand scheme of things though, it hardly made a splash. However, it laid the foundations for two great albums which would follow in quick succession, the second of which being 2021's 'Comfort to Me'.
Key songs from this international breakout album include 'Hertz', 'Freaks to the Front', 'Guided by Angels' and 'Security', though there isn't a bad song in sight on this fantastic punk record.
