Many fans seem to believe that The Interrupters are a new, up and coming act who have only just arrived on the scene. Contrary to popular belief though, the band actually formed back in 2011, but didn't release their debut self-titled record until 2014.

Almost overnight, The Interrupters became a household name for American ska fans and their influence quickly spread to Europe also.
