7. Bon Jovi - Slippery When Wet
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oot0GtjQuxQ If Bon Jovi were to perspire at a particularly fast rate, the resultant liquids would by definition have be named 'rock'. Slippery When Wet is an album of the purest rock n' roll known to man - a collection of songs so soul-stirring they helped solidify that 'whoosh-pop' drum tone the likes of Autograph, Poison and a thousand other glam rock bands would replicate for their requisite 15 seconds in the sun. This is also the album that gave us the unbridled hair-down euphoria of Livin' On A Prayer; a song so perfect in everything it sets out to be, that it just might be the greatest rock song of all time. That's not to mention the rest of the album that is just so....'80's' it practically makes whatever listening device you're experiencing the album on sprout a little perm. A bucketload of cymbal crashes, squealing guitars and lots of "ooh yeah"s along the way, all from the genre's heyday when tight pants and guyliner made you far more of a man. It's impossible to get sick of: Wanted Dead Or Alive. That chorus chaps, that chorus is big enough to do battle with a neighbouring galaxy, packed full of enough morale-rallying high and lows to make sure all involved are singing along the whole time too.
