Keith Richards is basically the eighth wonder of the world: not only is his endurance astonishing, but his guitar style is the stuff of genius.

Mick Jagger is not the only voice in The Rolling Stones: theirs is a sound based on call and answer, and the genius of their sound is in the way Jagger populates the gaps in the music that RIchards' playing crafts for him. And though he plays with casual, refined swagger the emotion in his tone is astonishing.

Key Track: "Gimme Shelter"
