Durrty Goodz may not be as well known as some of the others on this list, but he is the holder of quite possibly the most "natural" flow and lyrical mastery of any grime MC to date. The Axiom EP from 2007 is the best example of this, and is rightly considered by grime connoisseurs to be one of the finest (and most underrated) releases in the genre's history. Listening to this EP, it's no surprise that he was named best MC by Kool FM and featured alongside the likes of Dexplicit, Big Narstie and Dot Rotten on 2011's all-star single Pull Up 2011. His flow ventures into wide and interesting territory, blowing away the competition with references to hip-hop cadence and R&B melodies. This is a brief listen, and is probably one of the best places to begin for those that are already knowledgeable about some of grime's bigger players. Durrty Goodz should prove that there is a wealth of exceptional grime talent lurking beneath the scene's exposed surface.
