1. The Strokes - Comedown Machine
As they are one of America's best Indie Rock bands going it is always happy times when a new Strokes record is on the way. "Angles" was a great success for the band with songs such as "Undercover Of Darkness" and "Taken For A Fool" making it a really strong piece of music. The first song we heard from Comedown Machine was a little discouraging, the "weird" "One Way Trigger" had a strange techno hook to it that was reminiscent of A-Ha's "Take On Me". "One Way Trigger" isn't a bad song but I'd like to hope the Strokes would strive for better. And that's exactly what we got with the arrival of "All The Time". A vintage Strokes song that reminds us of their earlier work. The record is out March and you would be doing yourself an utter disservice by not giving it a listen.
