1. Nadine Shah
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hzg3CPHrwbE Nadine Shah has driven the critics into a frenzy with her piano-driven songs that depict themes far beyond her years of love, heartbreak, fear and anxiety. Although the overall tone of her song writing may be shrouded in a melancholic cloud, Nadines live shows have the ability to stop everyone in their tracks and are stripped to the bare bones: a girl, a piano. Her debut album entitled Luv Your Dum and Mad was released in July, resonating the idea further that Nadine isnt just a young woman, shes every woman. The tone of Nadines voice and her natural vibrato silkily swims down your ears and reduces you to almost a sob. The Sunderland-born singer songwriter has performed in just about every venue in the UK and is currently on tour in Europe. Check out the videos for Dreary Town and Aching Bones to get a real feel for the lady who has topped the list.
