5 Bands That Could've Been Even Bigger Than They Were

1. Guns N Roses

I understand that what makes Axl Rose great is that he's crazy, I just wish he was a little less crazy, so he wouldn't of run Slash, Duff, and whoever the drummer was out of town. I'm not even a huge fan of hard rock/hair/heavy metal or whatever you'd call GNR but Appetite for Destruction is a masterpiece. Every instrument, every note, every chord, every word spoken in that is gold, and it is by far one of the best albums ever made. Now take into account that that was their FIRST album. The first thing that the world hears from GNR and it's one of the best things ever made. I know they released a few more albums before it all got destroyed, and there are some good songs on those albums, but they would've gotten it together eventually. They would've gotten it together and released more of that music that made our ears happy in Appetite. And although they got inducted in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame last year (which is in the city I live in) (you can read an article where I talk about some to some of the top music execs about the possibility of their reunion here; excuse my error about their first album in the story if you read it) that felt soley based off the music that was done with the original lineup, and not based off the music where the band doesn't deserve to be called Guns N Roses. That band should be called "Axl Rose and his Goonies" but I digress. Guns N Roses had a chance to be just as big as any other band has ever been, and they didn't live up to it. Curse you Axl for being just a bit too crazy.
