1. Bradley Nowell (February 22, 1968 May 25, 1996)
The lead singer of ska-punk band Sublime was destined for big things. Sadly, the hugely talented and charismatic performed passed away before the bands major label debut (their third album overall) was released. The album proved a major success both critically and commercially and the band and Nowell posthumously received plaudits for his work. Hits like Santeria and What I Got exhibit Nowells smooth, laidback delivery and musical talent. Based on the success of the bands self-titled album, Sublime could have went on to be one of the most popular bands of the nineties, but unfortunately Nowells death from a heroin overdose in May 1996 ended that. He left behind a wife and son. The remaining members of Sublime reformed in 2009 under the name of Sublime with Rome.
