For fans of Bury Tomorrow and Blood Youth, Sea Smile are an intimidating metal outfit, who found their metal approach on crushing riffs and infectious melodies. With 6,000 monthly Spotify listeners and almost 30,000 Facebook followers, they are by far the biggest name on this list.

What’s incredible is the fact that Sea Smile have earned this admirable fan following without releasing a single full-length album since their formation in 2010. Throughout their careers, Sea Smile have made three studio EP’s, one live EP and several one off singles, including a handful of cover songs.

Although Sea Smile’s metal approach is incredibly polarising and diverse, they can most easily be tied down to the metalcore sub-genre. This is apparent from their most popular songs which include ‘Imposter’, ‘Sua Cara’ and the dangerously underrated ‘Elementos’.
