Chris Cornell is one of the most influential frontmen of the Grunge movement. His career spanned four decades. Cornell led Soundgarden and Audioslave, producing his own solo records on the way.

His dynamic vocal range established him as one of the most talented frontmen of the Grunge sound. Simultaneously, establishing himself as one of the greatest musicians to come out of Seattle.

Soundgarden was the first Grunge band to ever sign a major label deal and a pioneering band of the Grunge sound along with Green River in the late 1980s. Though, they didn’t reach much success until their contemporaries achieved commercial success, they arguable had the greatest influence on the Grunge Sound.
