4. Boards Of Canada - Tomorrow's Harvest
Although this one is little more obscure than the others, Boards Of Canada's seven year break from proper releases was a little draining. By the time the Scottish electronic-ambient duo came back, (with a desert listening party) we were treated to hear a dystopic soundtrack of desolate soundscapes capable of entertaining the normal fan. But there's nothing exciting or even close to groundbreaking when it comes to Tomorrow's Harvest. Previous albums showcased an immense wealth of creativity and boundless melodies to infect your soul for years, but Tomorrow's Harvest lacks heavily in even catching your attention. Although early single "Reach For The Dead" seemed promising, fans and myself will stick to Geogaddi and dwell on the past rather than the present.
