I hope at least one of you out there viewed the spectacle of Justin Hawkins ascending from the heavens, mounted on a white tiger cradling his white Gibson Les Paul, playing Wembley stadium many years ago. Aside from Muse, Biffy Clyro or any other performance greats, The Darkness always try to make any gig a night to remember, and often succeed. From laughs from the crowd, to playing the songs you actually want to hear, The Darkness are by far, one of my all time favourite. Big or small, you know a gig isn't just 'a gig', but an event people pay hard-earned money for, and I believe they respect that fact. Whether powerful stage entrances, band-first performance moments or literally playing to such a high level with the best sound going, with the famous Marshall stack wall on tour as seen in I Believe In A Thing Called Love (well, maybe not as big..), The Darkness are simply legendary. So here we have it, 5 reasons why to love The Darkness. If you have any other additions, please comment them below!
