5 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Hate Five Finger Death Punch

3. Their Support For Veterans Is Astounding

It’s no secret that Five Finger Death Punch has a huge military following.

Their songs, imagery and music videos proudly showcase their support for the women and men serving the United States at home and abroad. They’ve brought the music to those on the frontlines, playing USO tours and spending time with soldiers, many of whom use 5FDP’s songs to cope with the extreme realities of their day-to-day lives.

While many other bands have performed in Iraq and other zones entrenched in conflict, Five Finger Death Punch prioritize support of veterans long after their tours end. The band started 5FDP4VETs, a merchandise site that raises awareness and financial support for veterans suffering from PTSD.

They created a dog tag shrine known as the Wall of Heroes which honors fallen soldiers, too. The band also employs veterans for shows, tours, and other events. Zoltan has even teamed up with Veterans Empowered to Protect African Wildlife to prevent poaching across the continent.

These men care deeply about the U.S. armed forces, are grateful for their sacrifices, and are humbled by the passionate fan base that use the Five Finger Death Punch catalog as the soundtrack in their fight to preserve America’s freedom.
