5 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Hate Five Finger Death Punch

2. They’re Embracing The Next Generation Of Metal Fans In A Unique Way

Standing in the audience during a metal show can be life-changing. Now imagine getting to go up on stage and rock out with the bands.

Five Finger Death Punch has a unique way of engaging their youngest of fans. One of their concert rituals over the years has been to bring kids from the audience up on stage for a few songs.

They want to give these children a life-long memory and experience the show alongside the band. There are dozens of videos of children singing along with Ivan to songs like “Remember Everything”, “Burn MF”, and “The Bleeding”.

They’ve even let a couple of kids behind the drum kit to rock the crowd on their own. Those who may say that 5FDP is everything that’s wrong with mainstream metal can’t argue the importance of these moments. Acts like these will inspire the next generation of musicians.

Even if these kids don’t make music a lifelong profession or hobby, they’ll still forever hold onto the feeling of acceptance and community that makes the rock scene such a tight-knit family.
