It's easy to associate the mumbling, addled figure of The Osbournes with years of prodigious drug consumption, and even if Ozzy's condition (Parkin Syndrome) isn't directly attributable to his lifestyle, there's little doubt that 40 years of drug and alcohol abuse have done him no favors. As with many other musicians, Osbourne used drugs as a creative tool, or at least he thought he did, explaining: "I used to get so frustrated with myself... I thought that you had to get loaded to make songs... I thought it was that was making me creative." Some of the songs he's most recognized for, as a part of Black Sabbath and as a solo artist, were all conceived through the lens of narcotics, and Ozzy and the band have stumbled through music since sobering up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZyVZFJGX5g
