5 Stars Who Made Better Music On Drugs

4. Guns 'N' Roses

Guns N Roses Almost all of the bands biggest hits were recorded during the mid to late eighties, a time when all the members of the band have admitted was filled with heavy drug use. Write down a list of a the Guns 'N' Roses songs you can think of, and it's a near certainty that they were a product of the coked up, heroin infused days of the band's formative years. Steven Adler has written in his autobiography that him, Slash and Duff McKagan were the three worst offenders; all three slipped off at different stages during recording sessions to shoot a mix of cocaine and heroin. Now that everyone in the band is sober, the once described "most dangerous band in the world" has all but disintegrated, with only Axl Rose surviving as the sole constant member. As the original members slipped away, Axl Rose famously waited 14 years to release Chinese Democracy, and some former band mates, such as Izzy Stradlin, have slipped so far down the celebrity ladder that they're barely heard from today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1tj2zJ2Wvg
