2. Dylan Does Victoria's Secret
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsFrFQ-F64Y Yes, you read that correctly, Bob Dylan Does Victoria's Secret. In 1965 Dylan joked that if he ever sold out to any commercial, it would be "ladies garments". It was meant sarcastically at the time, but, alas, in 2004, there Dylan was, walking around uncomfortably in a Victoria's Secret commercial, ogling model Adriana Lima - weird for an artist not especially known for his sex appeal and weirder when you consider that it's Dylan, one of the century's great iconoclasts, a man who once walked off the Ed Sullivan show when he learned they were planning to censor his Talkin' John Birch Paranoid Blues. Naturally the cry was "sell out", especially with Dylan's great Love Sick playing in the background, a song from his masterpiece 90s comeback album (after a decade of in the wilderness of his 80s years), Time Out Of Mind. This wasn't the last time Dylan would "sell out": a year later he agreed a deal with global super-chain Starbucks to release some of his most sought after rare tracks exclusively through them, a move which angered and bemused his legions of fans even more so than "Angels in Venice" did.
