1. Dylan Does Santa Clause
Bob Dylan rounded out one of his most successful decades since the 60s with the album Christmas in the Heart, a bizarre, lighthearted, ultimately hilarious album (see above). Full of classic Christmas songs, the album was obviously polarising, with some crediting Dylan for trying to infuse some life into a notorious wasteland of a genre, and others acknowledging that come on, surely he's just taking the p*ss now? Say what you like about the album, but the video above, with Dylan in a long grey wig and a white top hat running around a house like a kid at Christmas, shows Another Side of Bob Dylan (pun intended), one in which he's free of the trappings of his legend and simply just having a bit of fun in old age. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8qE6WQmNus It certainly beats the corporate sell out machinations of his deals with Victoria's Secret and Starbucks, and, given the choice between a Christmas song and a Christmas song with Bob Dylan, who's gonna really pick the former anyway?
