2. The Dolls
You thought the video couldn't get weirder, until Arcade Fire brought dolls in. Creepy, naked, shiny dolls. And what do Arcade Fire do with this these dolls? Throw them out of a van. That's right. Near the end of the video, the large headed version of the band are seen leaning out of the back of the van with a whole box of these things, casting them into the road. Why are they doing this, I hear you cry. To tell the truth, I don't know. Perhaps they are contesting the appearence of the dolls? Perhaps they are making a statement about perfectionism? Or perhaps they just like throwing doll out of the back of a truck. I don't know. But while this has to be one of the randomer moments in the music video, it doesn't quite top the bill....
