In Rainbows, Radiohead's long-awaited seventh album, didn't just innovate via its unique "pay-what-you-want" release - it was yet another reinvention from a band that never seems to run out of progressive steps. While not exactly free of the emotional turmoil long-present in Radiohead's discography, In Rainbows is definitely the most gentle LP of the band's career.
