Although they've worked together on a long tour, as well as Taylor Swift's song Everything Has Changed, Sheeran has confirmed that Swift will not feature on his upcoming album. It has become clear that the two have become great friends, having been reported not to want to take the relationship further so that they don't ruin their friendship. This isn't to say that she hasn't had a major influence on it, with Sheeran telling MTV News that she's heard every song he's recorded, and he always sends her new material for a stamp of approval. And there's no doubting that Taylor Swift is a major success in America, if not worldwide, so probably knows a thing or two about good music. Although she won't feature, Sheeran has told the press that he wouldn't be surprised if he and Swift worked together again, so we might be seeing some more Sheeran and Swift material on her upcoming album (due at the end of 2014) or beyond that. Along with Sheeran saying he wants to Release three in three years", this is a good sign for fans not wanting to wait so long for new material after the second album.
