7 Surprisingly Inappropriate Disney Lyrics

4. Under The Sea - The Little Mermaid

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GC_mV1IpjWA The Little Mermaid has been plagued with accusations of inappropriateness ever since its release. There was the phallic tower on king Trident's palace. There was the priest with the mysterious protrusion in his robes that the studio claimed was just his knee. However, hardly anyone noticed the following lines slipped into the high-energy anthem Under the Sea: Darling it's better,Down where it's wetter,Take it from me. What? Of course it's totally innocent. It's just a crab. A singing crab. A singing crab extolling the benefits of a moist environment. It's better where it's wetter. That's just common sense. Especially if you're a crab. There's absolutely no innuendo there at all.

With a (nearly) useless degree in English literature and a personal trainer qualification he's never used, Freddie spends his times writing things that he hopes will somehow pay the rent. He's also a former professional singer, and plays the saxophone and ukulele. He's not really used to talking about himself in the third person, and would like to stop now, thanks.
