1. Hellfire - The Hunchback Of Notre Dame
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3NoDEu7kpg Generally accepted as one of the greatest Disney villain songs, Hellfire focused on Judge Frollio as he struggled with his desire for Esmerelda. The song starts out dark simply by dint of the Gregorian chant in the background and the fact that Frollio actually thinks he's the good guy. Things only get creepier as Frollio decides that Esmeralda is in fact a witch, and pleads with God and the Virgin Mary to make her suffer. It was basically an extended monologue of a dirty old man about a pretty young girl. The most disturbing lyrics? Probably these: Like fire,Hellfire,This fire in my skin. This burning desire,Is turning me to sin. Most villains simply want to destroy and/or rule the world. In Frollio's case, he wants to cleanse the world of evil and corruption, which apparently also entails wanting to either murder or sleep with the film's heroine. First, though, he should really go to a doctor about that burning sensation...

With a (nearly) useless degree in English literature and a personal trainer qualification he's never used, Freddie spends his times writing things that he hopes will somehow pay the rent. He's also a former professional singer, and plays the saxophone and ukulele. He's not really used to talking about himself in the third person, and would like to stop now, thanks.
