3. Anderson, McGinty, Webster, Ward and Fisher
Favourite track: Mona Their name may not exactly roll off the tongue the first time you read it, but AMWWF are definitely worth keeping your eye on. Performing folk music with a fantastically rustic sound to it (although they have the ability to jump from one musical style to the other), AMWWF sound just as good live as they do on record, if not better. Their extensive touring schedule also means they have garnered a following of truly passionate fans who will sing along to the band, with gusto. Each member of this five-piece is outrageously talented, musically speaking, with everyone playing multiple instruments throughout the course of a show while having tonnes of fun doing so. Having recently won an award for Best New Scottish Band and recorded a new version of the Scottish classic 'Caledonia' with Dougie MacLean, the songs original writer, the future looks bright for Anderson, Mcginty, Webster, Ward and Fisher.
