8 Crazy Conspiracy Theory Songs By Well-Known Artists

2. Lupe Fiasco Holds Nothing Back On "Words I Never Said"

Rapper Lupe Fiasco has never been afraid of stirring a bit of controversy. From calling Barack Obama a “terrorist” to a beef with Chief Keef (even his feuds rhyme), he has always found occasion to speak his mind. This can include some pretty weird stuff, like his belief that he was abducted by aliens as a child.

So it’s not surprising that his track called “Words I Never Said” would involve very little reticence, and the rapper holds forth on a barrage of topics. He gets conspiratorial from the get-go, rapping:

“9/11, building 7 / did they really pull it? / and a bunch of other cover-ups / your child’s future was the first to go with budget cuts.”

The track has had an equally colourful history after its release; Anonymous adopted it as its anthem; Fiasco defended the track on Fox’s "Bill O’Reilly Show"; and at the "StartUp RockOn Washington" event, Lupe played a discordant, repetitive 20-minute version of the song in protest (they kicked him off stage).
