6. Holiday Road - Lyndsey Buckingham
http://youtu.be/_nLiQBV6A7c The song now made infamous by Chevy Chase and National Lampoon's Vacation might be one of the most infectious, fun songs to ever be produced. It's bouncy, poppy, and absolutely squeals with delight. And the music video apparently takes place in the second ring of hell. I'm not sure what's more awkward: the women who sort of act like drones for the "OOOOoooohhhs" or Buckingham's own dead gaze that he constantly bequeaths upon viewers. If he's acting, then by God, Daniel Day-Lewis scoot over. There's a new master of the moment in town. I've never seen a face showcase blatant disregard for life and all-encompassing misery so naturally. And, of course, the old man at the podium at the end of the video is a "What the hell?" treat, too.
