5. You're Only Human - Billy Joel
http://youtu.be/YhxjNYvJbgM Billy Joel's video is a (then) contemporary It's a Wonderful Life, as he, in a black trenchcoat and hat, stops a boy's suicide and shows him what his life could be. What follows is a forgettable song, awkward jumbling of Joel having no idea what to do with his hands, and Adam Savage being pulled out of the ocean by a meaty lifeguard. The best moments easily come in at around 1:30, where Joel plays a finger-pointing game with the boy in question, and then sort of falsely moves at 1:32 where the guy is supposed to grab his hand. And then 1:54 has an incredibly nonsensical and brief moment of Joel throwing up a microphone and strangely juggling it in his hands before he gives up and the camera cuts away.

Cameron Carpenter is an aspiring screenwriter, current film and journalism student, and self-diagnosed cinephile, which only sounds bad in certain circles. Devoted fan of comics, movies, theater, Jesus Christ, Sidney Lumet, and Peter O'Toole, he sometimes spends too much time on his Scribd and comicbookmovie.com, but doesn't think you're one to judge, devoted reader. You can follow him on Twitter to watch him talk to people you didn't know exist. Oh, and Daredevil is quite the big deal around here (my head).
