2. Jimi Hendrix Predicted His Own Death In Disturbing Detail
Jimi Hendrix the American guitarist born in Seattle, Washington needs absolutely no introduction. Despite his career only spanning about four years, he's become a rock legend, one of the most influential electric guitarists of all time. As part of his band The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Hendrix penned the creepily prophetic song titled The Ballad Of Jimi. Already the connection is fairly obvious (coupled with the fact Hendrix begins by dedicating the song to the memory of Jimi), but it's the lyrics that are really quite astounding. For a start, there's the lines Many things he would try, for he knew soon he'd die and Now Jimi's home, he's not alone. His memory still lives on. Those are eerie, sure, but none are as strange as Five years, this he said. He's not gone, he's just dead. The song is believed to have been written before the release of the Jimi Hendrix Experience's first album, which would place it around five years prior.
