3. Nicki Minaj Goes Full Barbie
It must get tiring for Nicki Minaj to be so on all of the time. In the last few years, Minaj has risen to immense stardom, featuring on the tracks of dozens of prominent musicians. She's known for her animated performance style and myriad costumes and cosmetics, so it's not surprising she's got an alter ego or two. Okay, so in actuality she has about a dozen Martha Zolanski, Nicki Lewinsky, Nicki Teresa (yeah, seriously) to name just a few but by far the most famous and longest lasting is The Harajuku Barbie. It's no wonder this alter ego has stuck around it's practically the complete opposite of her traditional stage persona in every conceivable way. The Harajuku Barbie is quiet, shy, soft-spoken and enamoured with the colour pink. She's probably a form of escapism for Minaj, given how she's so frequently in-your-face.
