8 Reasons Avicii's 'True' Album Deserves Every Bit Of The Hype

7. 'You Make Me' €“ More Energy Than a Cup of Joe

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GADx4Hy-Gg&list=PLgS37a0VBveUc0UDzb_SIHTpK5eDQ3u85 While the start of the album focuses on dance with a dash of country and a sprinkle of folk, 'You Make Me' is the first pure pop song on the album. The song is the product of the minds of a few artists, including swedish song writer Vincent Pontare and singer Salem El Fakir, who also featured on Avicii's previous hit 'Silhouettes', which was a radio hit circa 2012. 'You Make Me' has a bit of a rebellious vibe, with shouty vocals reminiscent of British punk, infectious lyrics and a tune that practically drags you to the dance floor. This is typical of Avicii's music, and is something that's not gone unnoticed by energetic brands like 'Burn' energy drink, who teamed up with him to produce previous track 'Speed', in association with the Lotus F1 team. 'You Make Me' is reflective of the energy of this album too, with other songs like 'Lay Me Down,' and 'All You Need is Love' also have great rhythms, high energy and unwavering optimism. Like any good dance music, the energy of the album is motivating and makes you want to move, making for an excellent gym playlist. If you've got a spare few minutes and want an even more hyper version of this song with a more defined electro tone, check out the 'Throttle' remix by Avicii himself.
