Constantly jumping between acting and rapping, Ice Cube is kind of an anomaly in the realm of entertainment. At one time, Cube was considered to be one of the most diabolical rappers in the game. As one of the founding members of the group N.W.A., he notoriously rapped "F**k the Police" and helped create the "gangsta-rap" sub-genre of hip-hop we know today. Expressing an interest in acting, Ice Cube scored roles in movies like "Boyz in the Hood" and even wrote the screenplay for his most famous movie "Friday." Then, for some reason he moved toward making kid's movies like "Are We There Yet?". It's a career shift so bizarre it's meme-worthy.

On his newest album "Everythang's Corrupt" Ice Cube declares war on widespread corruption, but somewhere between the kids flicks and the misspelling of "everything", I find it hard to believe that this album will be anything other than Cube's sad attempt to rekindle the magic of his former thug days.
