9 Albums To Play When Doing Creative Work

1. Enigma €“ MCMXC a.D.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4F9DxYhqmKw Practically any Enigma album could be on this list, but the first remains the most ethereal and conductive to background inspiration. (It€™s also extremely effective as romantic background music, but that€™s an article for another day.) Headed by German music producer Michael Cretu, a.k.a. Curly M.C., the new age project juxtaposed Gregorian chants and a sexy vocal (provided by his then wife, Sandra) to a slow dance beat, a seemingly odd combination that worked. The result was over 60 platinum awards worldwide. The three-part Principles of Lust, Mea Culpa and the three-part Back To The Rivers Of Belief are the key songs here, but this is yet another album that deserves full play. There have been a few reissues with extra remix tracks, but the original serves the purpose the best. If you really get into them, you can add their six other original albums to the playlist for over 5 hours of soothing headphone background for coding and website building.
