9 Most Disturbing Music Videos You've Ever Seen

4. Windowlicker - Aphex Twin (1999)

Windowlaker An unsettling yet enthralling music video from the British musician, Aphex Twin (Richard D. James) and directed by Chris Cunningham, is their own take at parodying American gangster hip-hop videos. Drowning in a world of harsh surrealism and style, a pimped out Richard D. James with an unreal amount of wealth and power, emerges from his nonsensically stretched limousine with a disturbing fixed grin. What made this video so popular upon it's release, besides offering strange eye candy and a warped version of a hip-hop video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MBaEEODzU0 The moment when a gathering of women begin to surround James in his limousine, this is where we are subjected to a creepy and uncomforting sight of their faces transforming until they resemble the likeness of James. While it's more psychosexual than anything else, it's wonderfully uncanny and disquieting. Nevertheless, the individual's vulnerability is mercilessly stripped away causing sustained terror, leaving us to recoil.
