9 Songs That Are So Much Dirtier Than You Think

5. The Knack - "My Sharona"

Obviously "My Sharona" is sexual. The record single has a picture of a woman in a barely-there tank top, her pointy nerps telling you pretty much everything you need to know about the song in a single pose. She's Sharona Alperin, the muse for The Knack's one and only hit. But there's a little more to this story. Lead singer Doug Fieger met the titular Sharona when he was 25-years-old and, according to him, the moment was "like getting hit in the head with a baseball bat, I fell in love with her instantly." Setting aside the logistical questions of how blunt force trauma would be the impetus for love, let's just skip to the part where he penned a song about her in 15 minutes. Sweet right? She obviously thought so. After all, Sharona agreed to appear on the record cover and they started dating a short while later. Then again, 17-year-olds don't always possess the best judgment. Oh...what's that? You didn't realize The Knack wrote a song about wanting to sex up a minor? Well then, feast your eyeballs on this oft-overlooked lyric:
Never gonna stop, give it up, such a dirty mind I always get it up for the touch of the younger kind.
Those lines weren't even about a specific underage girl. He's literally saying that he's a sucker for underage girls, and Sharona probably isn't the first one he's attempted to get into bed with. So...eww. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR2JtsVumFA
