10. Blackbird
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yz_j7nVCJJ0 Any self-respecting AB fan simply has to have the mighty Blackbird in their collection. With its twin-guitar solo being voted the no.1 of all time from Guitarist magazine (even over Stairway to Heaven), it's a truly wondrous and timeless composition that aims to pay tribute to vocalist Myles Kennedy's guitar teacher. Named Mark Morse, he set Myles on the spotlight-filled road he's currently wandering down with Slash, but only a few turns more and he'll be back in the studio with Alter Bridge. Blackbird is a testament to everything Myles brings to the band, something that makes the album of the same name a far more accomplished-sounding work than debut One Day Remains, combining multiple guitar lines, Kennedy's heart-rendering vocals and one of the best showcases of Myles and Mark's twin-guitar composition. Why you need it: The gorgeous intro fingerpicked section and harmonious middle are exquisite, but it's the trade-off solo between Kennedy and Tremonti that'll truly stand the test of time forever more. Blackbird is absolutely astounding.
