These California natives had already achieved some infamy thanks to their collaborations with the likes of Papa Roach, which eventually got them signed to Dreamworks SKG. But it was this cover of Michael Jacksons Smooth Criminal from his 1987 album Bad that sent them through the stratosphere of mainstream dominance. The success of the accompanying film clip garnered them a whole new legion of fans and to this day they are still going strong. Having released four albums and with over five million units sold, Alien Ant Farm have gone on to solidify their position within the music industry as leaders of the alternative rock movement.
