First achieving fame with iconic girl group The Go Go€™s, who to this day remain one of the most successful all-female bands of all time, her solo career went on to become just as memorable. Undergoing a radical new look for her second album, Belinda Carlisle achieved her biggest hit with the track Heaven is a Place on Earth, and although she had already credited with several successes to her name, this ultimately went on to become her signature track. It was the definitive pop song of the era and if you grew up in that time period, you instantly recognize its opening lyrics and catchy melody. As did Elvenking, who included a cover of this hit on their fifth studio album. Hailing from Italy, they have become one of their homelands most respected metal bands and have cemented their spot in the European live circuit with their extensive back catalogue and unique fusion of metal, folk and pop - a style that successfully translates this 80€™s classic for the modern era.

Passions in life: Movies, Music and Wrestling....My childhood was spent growing up in the "Outback" of Australia (I'm a little bit country) and my adulthood resided within the city limits (I'm a little bit rock and roll), so you could say that I am the best (or worst) of both worlds. A 6 foot 7 ex wannabe pro wrestler (whose career was cut short due to a busted back, NOT caused by wrestling) & muso who has a precocious cat & a habit of doing the wrong thing but for the right reasons. The story of my life???? All demos, no albums ;)
