Truly the greatest cover that Flowers or The Killers have turned their hand to is one of their oldest, and it is a song that has continued to feature in their set-lists as regularly as staples like When You Were Young or even Mr. Brightside. First recorded for Ian Curtis biopic Control, the song featured on B sides album Sawdust with a full studio cut.

The song blends the band's immense control of atmospheric synths and big, blasting rock cuts to make it sound like a true Killers anthem. It's really a staple of the band's regular live performances, and it's not hard to see why; it's proved to be the perfect mid-set head-banger and has started to form a wonderful partnership with Day & Age's pop-happ Spaceman in recent years.

In this 2013 performance in Chicago, Brandon & co. were able to call upon the aid of an extra guitar at the hands of one of the song's creators, Bernard Sumner. It is perhaps the biggest and best version to date.
