https://twitter.com/biersacksixxxxx/status/478532645799071744 Like Status Quo, BFS probably shouldnt be around any more: theyve announced farewell gigs and tours, and seemed intent on letting their irresistibly teenage musical product go the way of most of the band who joined them in the charts in their heyday. But thank God they havent yet hung up their instruments. Yes, theyre probably too old to be singing comic-angsty teen-anthems like Girl All The Bad Guys Want, but its not like theyve actually grown up as theyve grown older - as the giant inflatable sheep on stage testified. Enormously likeable between the songs - with probably the second best banter of all bands on the two main stages - BFS showed why theyve managed longevity despite the adversity of some people hating them (as they frequently announced during the set). And its not just because theyre funny, or their image raises a smile: theyre actually great musicians.
