9. Bowling For Soup

https://twitter.com/biersacksixxxxx/status/478532645799071744 Like Status Quo, BFS probably shouldn€™t be around any more: they€™ve announced farewell gigs and tours, and seemed intent on letting their irresistibly teenage musical product go the way of most of the band who joined them in the charts in their heyday. But thank God they haven€™t yet hung up their instruments. Yes, they€™re probably too old to be singing comic-angsty teen-anthems like €œGirl All The Bad Guys Want,€ but it€™s not like they€™ve actually grown up as they€™ve grown older - as the giant inflatable sheep on stage testified. Enormously likeable between the songs - with probably the second best banter of all bands on the two main stages - BFS showed why they€™ve managed longevity despite the adversity of some people hating them (as they frequently announced during the set). And it€™s not just because they€™re funny, or their image raises a smile: they€™re actually great musicians.
