7. Richie Sambora

Some crueller commenters might well have said that Sambora€™s set was no more than a waiting game until he inevitably broke out the Bon Jovi tunes, but that would be a disservice to the rock stalwart. The former Bon Jovi member will inevitably always be faced with similar assumptions that he will struggle to make his own mark, but as long as he continues to put together such skilled sets in the face of them, they€™ll become more sparse. In the Sunday slot immediately before Joe Bonamassa, Sambora resisted the urge to go with too much Bon Jovi, even if it always felt like something iconic was on its way, and when it did - in the shape of €œWanted Dead Or Alive€ - the crowd responded duly and enthusiastically. More than anything though, this gig was another indication that Sambora doesn€™t need anyone else to put together an impressive set, even if he€™s still attached to the music he made with them.
