Download Festival 2015: 11 Heavy Tracks Muse Need To Play

4. Hyper Music

There's probably never been a more fittingly named Muse track than Hyper Music (ironically twinned in release with the surprisingly morose Feeling Good). The distortion-happy, riff-driven track is definitely hyper, bouncing all over the place, and reflecting the anger of its message.

For a song about wanting to destroy an ex (it's alternative title is I Don't Love You), it could have disappeared up its own backside, but the riff keeps it hooked in line. It's bittersweet in the most literal reading of the word: up-beat and exciting, but with a disturbingly dark voice. And that makes for a fun, if odd, listening experience.

It's also clearly a difficult song to sing, but if Donington was made for anything, it's showing off.
