If you had any doubt that Iron Maidens Sunday night closing session was a Big Deal, you only need to look at the lack of competition theyve presumably insisted on from the second and third stages.

Bands have done that in the past - AC/DC did so and brought their own stage not so long ago - and the manipulated bigger crowd makes for a stunning atmosphere. In truth, Maidens two hour show - which promises spectacle and technical genius as ever - probably didnt need any added incentive to be great.

You know what youre getting from Maiden, and this is precisely why theyre booked in the big boy slots.
