2. Volbeat Need To Tour The UK More

For some reason, the UK didn't take to Volbeat when they wanted to tour here more and now the opportunities to see the Danish band are way too limited.

They need to play more shows, because there's now a bigger, more committed fanbase who would flock to their incredibly polished, brilliantly infectious shows. They were the stand-outs of Download 2018 and they're another group who deserve headline consideration. If they had a huge UK tour behind them, that might be more likely, though.

1. Three And A Half Hours Is Too Much For Anyone

It was billed as a major show, but watching Guns N Roses for 3.5 hours was too much. Too much, in fact, for Guns N Roses, who only played 3 hours.

The reality of the band is that they have great classic songs and they can still play them very well. Slash still rocks, Axl is capable of shockingly great moments and as an ensemble they're pretty well polished. Unfortunately, what they don't have is enough material, which is why we were treated to way too many solos that felt self-indulgent and a whole library of weird, sliughtly out of place covers.

Sure, it was an experience, but it maybe wasn't the BEST experience it could have been.
