Eminem: 10 Best Songs You've Never Heard

7. It Has Been Said (Notorious B.I.G. feat. P. Diddy, Eminem & Obie Trice)

It Has Been Said has been said to have been one of the few admirable entries in the entire pantheon of Biggie Smalls collaborations, not to mention it may be the sole track that anyone enjoyed on this album - Duets: The Final Chapter - besides Nasty Girl, of course.

Ironically, coincidentally or potentially even intentionally, another of these fan-approved collaborations was Eminem's deadly verse on Dead Wrong, the legitimate joint effort between the late great Christopher Wallace and Eminem. As despite Duets being a Biggie album, his presence is completely absent on this song in particular.

However, the compilation of Eminem, Obie Trice and Diddy certainly cushioned the blow of this albums crashing sales.

Eminem masterfully overrides his two rapping counterparts as he weaves a narrative that's just as much a tribute as it is a theatrically fuelled melodrama. Superlatively layering the intricacies and iniquities in his typically expansive manner. It's the sort of verse that feels like he could've - and probably did - write in less than an hour or two, but still contains enough impactful power to create a myriad of messages and imagery in the subconcious.
