Eminem: 10 Best Songs You've Never Heard

8. Kill For You (Skylar Grey feat. Eminem)

Potentially his most frequent collaborator - outside of Dr. Dre - Skylar Grey links up with Eminem yet again to release this underappreciated, should-be gem of a cult hit; just not an occult hit as the name may be indicative of.

Instead of focussing on bringing things back from the dead, and instead of Grey providing a partial part of the song on either a chorus, hook or bridge to exude the antithesis or highlight the justification of Em' message, he lends his voice to her idea for once.

Supplying Skylar's song with no less than three trademark verses, that sort of unorthodoxly amalgamate into a single one, he doesn't only exhibit his unbridled level of skill. He takes the song and concept of it, from being an average, twisted love-based tale, to something more poignant in its execution. All the while rapping about how he would (lovingly) execute people for his love interest.

The lyrics are as heartfelt as they are cynical, precariously balancing good grief against bad blood. In a song that was intended to be another Marshall and Riri project originally, it indubitably benefits from the unobjectionable gratification of the eventual pairings veracious chemistry.
