Eminem: 10 Best Songs You've Never Heard
5. Off The Wall (feat. Redman)
Potentially the most impressive element of this song is that, with a title like Off The Wall, Eminem retains his composure enough to make it through three-and-a-half minutes without a single Michael Jackson joke or reference. Which for those who know Eminem - and especially the version of him we got in the 2000s - is probably more Off The Wall than anything this song could've produced.
Due to the songs sole album appearance being featured on none other than The Nutty Professor 2 soundtrack - a film which itself has been forgotten to time - it's safe to say this could exponentially contribute to the track going well under the radar.
Off The Wall remains that obscure that it hasn't even been brought to modern listeners through modern music streaming services. That's a crying shame in reality, as, despite it definitely being a song stereotypical of Eminem and Redman's not-so-politically correct repertoires, it's simply what the fans wanted and expected from a track containing two of the genres highest accolade-racking artists.
The most problematic aspect of it is simply that it's the only time the alleged G.O.A.T. and his biggest inspiration (Redman) have ever worked together in their combined 60-plus years in the industry.
