Eminem: 10 Best Songs You've Never Heard

4. EPMD 2 (Nas feat. Eminem and EPMD)

One of the most coveted pairing of individuals in the entire history of the rap game is Nas and EPMD's collaboration on a track flummoxed by its very literal title, EPMD. That is, until a sequel entitled EPMD 2 featuring Eminem came along.

The track that features Nas, EPMD and Eminem competing with each other, with each successive rapper trying to spit more fire than a malfunctioning kiln, with only two of them actually provoking each other to exude the best of their abilities.

Disclaimer: Neither of these are EPMD.

Despite the fact that it could've - and definitely should've - been created a long time ago, it was still a spectacular moment for the industry. Significant, even if late.

It's unfortunate that this was created after EPMD's spotlight ran out of watts and never had the bulb replaced, but both Nas and Eminem more than pick up the slack. Nas is certainly back in business here, with his quips rivalling his earlier work, but maybe not his feature artists'.

As soon as Eminem interrupts the flow, he erupts quicker than Vesuvius in 79 CE and calibrates it to his own personal brand of melodic mayhem, as his very first line states the fact that he's going to murder this beat and add it to his growing list of victims.
